1. About the LBW Entrepreneurs Dinner Club

The LBW Entrepreneurs Dinner Club is a separate membership programme operated by Landing Big Whales.

The programme is intended to bring entrepreneurs, business owners, executives, professionals, and invited guests together through curated dinners, networking events, discussions, and related activities.

Membership in the LBW Entrepreneurs Dinner Club is separate from any other membership, chapter, programme, event, or service offered by Landing Big Whales.

2. Membership

Membership eligibility, membership fees, renewal terms, event access, benefits, and other programme conditions may be communicated during registration or through separate membership materials.

Membership applications may be reviewed before acceptance. Landing Big Whales reserves the right to approve or decline a membership application at its reasonable discretion.

Members are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and current information
• Keeping their membership and contact information updated
• Conducting themselves professionally and respectfully
• Respecting the privacy and confidentiality of other members
• Complying with event rules and venue requirements
• Refraining from harassment, discrimination, threatening behaviour, or unlawful conduct

Membership does not guarantee business referrals, contracts, investments, revenue, partnerships, introductions, or any other commercial result.

3. Events

Event dates, times, locations, speakers, guests, formats, and other details may change.

Landing Big Whales may postpone, relocate, modify, or cancel an event due to venue issues, availability, safety concerns, weather, operational circumstances, or other reasons.

Where applicable, event cancellation, transfer, credit, or refund terms will be communicated during registration.

Members and guests remain responsible for their own transportation, accommodation, personal property, and incidental expenses.

4. SMS Messaging Programme

Members who expressly opt in may receive text messages relating to:

• Other operational information directly related to the LBW Entrepreneurs Dinner Club

The SMS programme is intended to keep opted-in members informed about their Entrepreneurs Dinner Club membership and associated events.

Consent to receive messages

You will receive SMS messages only after providing your mobile number and expressly consenting to receive text messages from Landing Big Whales regarding the LBW Entrepreneurs Dinner Club.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing a membership, attending an event, or purchasing any other goods or services.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies depending on scheduled events and your membership activity. You may receive up to 8 messages per month.

During periods immediately before an event, you may receive additional operational messages concerning scheduling changes, venue access, or important event information.

Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier and service plan.

Landing Big Whales is not responsible for messaging, data, or other charges imposed by your mobile carrier.

Opting out

You may unsubscribe from SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message.

Recognised opt-out keywords may also include CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE, or UNSUBSCRIBE, where supported.

After opting out, you may receive one final confirmation message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. You will not receive additional messages from the SMS programme unless you opt in again.

Opting out of SMS messages does not cancel your LBW Entrepreneurs Dinner Club membership and does not automatically unsubscribe you from email communications.

Supported carriers and delivery

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Message delivery depends on the availability and operation of mobile carriers, messaging platforms, telecommunications networks, devices, and services outside our control.

Landing Big Whales does not guarantee that every message will be delivered or delivered within a specific period.

Changing your mobile number

You are responsible for informing Landing Big Whales when your mobile number changes.

Before transferring or discontinuing a mobile number, you should opt out of the SMS programme or contact support@landingbigwhales.com so that the number can be removed.

5. Payments and Renewals

Membership and event fees must be paid using the payment methods made available during registration.

Unless otherwise stated during enrolment:

• Membership fees are payable in advance
• Fees are non-transferable
• Renewal terms will be communicated before renewal
• Applicable taxes and processing charges may be added
• Failure to make payment may result in suspension or cancellation of access

Any recurring billing arrangement will be disclosed before payment authorisation.

6. Member Conduct

Members and guests must not use the LBW Entrepreneurs Dinner Club, its events, communications, website, membership directory, or other services to:

• Violate applicable laws or regulations
• Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or impersonate another person
• Engage in deceptive, fraudulent, or misleading conduct
• Send spam or unsolicited promotional messages
• Collect or distribute member information without permission
• Record confidential discussions without appropriate consent
• Interfere with the security or operation of our services
• Introduce malicious code or harmful material
• Misrepresent an affiliation with Landing Big Whales

Landing Big Whales may suspend or terminate membership or event access when a member violates these Terms, creates a safety or reputational risk, engages in unlawful conduct, or materially disrupts the programme.

7. Member Information and Introductions

Information shared by members during events, discussions, introductions, or networking activities may be provided voluntarily.

Members are responsible for determining whether information should be treated as confidential before disclosing it.

Landing Big Whales does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, qualifications, intentions, or business practices of any member, guest, speaker, sponsor, or third party.

Members should carry out their own legal, financial, commercial, and professional due diligence before entering into any transaction or relationship.

8. Photographs and Recordings

Events may be photographed or recorded for operational, archival, or promotional purposes.

Where appropriate, notice will be provided at registration or at the event. Members who do not wish to appear in photographs or recordings should contact us or notify an event organiser.

Nothing in this section permits the recording of private or confidential conversations without appropriate consent.

9. Intellectual Property

The Landing Big Whales name, LBW Entrepreneurs Dinner Club name, logos, branding, website content, event materials, graphics, designs, presentations, and other original content are owned by or licensed to Landing Big Whales unless otherwise stated.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell, license, or commercially exploit this material without prior written permission.

10. Third-Party Services

Our website and services may use or link to third-party providers, including:

• Payment processors
• Event-registration platforms
• Email providers
• SMS messaging providers
• Website hosting providers
• Venues
• Analytics providers

Third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Landing Big Whales is not responsible for the availability, content, security, or privacy practices of independent third parties.

11. Disclaimer

The LBW Entrepreneurs Dinner Club and its services are provided on an “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Landing Big Whales does not guarantee:

• Continuous or uninterrupted availability
• Attendance by any particular member, guest, or speaker
• Any specific number or quality of introductions
• Referrals, sales, investments, funding, revenue, or business opportunities
• The accuracy of information provided by members or third parties
• That every event will proceed exactly as initially scheduled

Information discussed at events is provided for general informational and networking purposes. It does not constitute legal, tax, accounting, investment, medical, or other regulated professional advice.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Landing Big Whales and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, representatives, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from:

• Participation in an event
• Interactions with another member or guest

• Delayed or undelivered messages
• Loss of business, revenue, data, goodwill, or opportunity

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, it will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by applicable law.

Landing Big Whales may suspend or terminate membership or access when reasonably necessary to:

• Protect the reputation or operation of the programme

Termination of membership does not automatically remove obligations or liabilities that arose before termination.

15. Changes to These Terms

The effective date will be revised when material changes are made. Where required by law, additional notice or consent will be provided.

A change to these Terms will not create consent to receive SMS messages where separate consent has not been provided.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

To the extent permitted by law, disputes relating to these Terms or the LBW Entrepreneurs Dinner Club will be subject to the jurisdiction of the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.
